Nearly one out of every five dollars generated in Turkiye's commerce now comes through e-commerce.
According to the latest ETBIS 2025 E-Commerce Outlook Report , published in May 2026, e-commerce accounted for 19.3% of Turkiye's total trade volume in 2025, reaching approximately $116 billion in transaction volume.
Five years ago, digital commerce was often viewed as an additional sales channel. Today, it has become a core part of the retail economy.
It's the fact that digital competition is no longer limited to digital-native brands.
Over the next five years, the brands that win won't necessarily be the ones investing the most in advertising.
They will be the brands that build:
• A distinctive positioning
• A memorable customer experience
• Operational excellence
• Long-term brand equity
Growth creates opportunity.
Strategy determines who captures it.
